Kevin McDonald 427 Vette
Kevin has been a very good customer of ours for a long time.Kevin's previous 402 had lots of dyno miles on it but was still a strong runner laying down 520rwhp and 490tq.Kevin affectionately calls his car The Gentlemans Cruise.This cars drive extremely mild mannered.
Kevin decided he wanted a little more under the hood.We are currently rebuilding the 402 into a 427'' beast.The engine will be receiving the folowing parts and machine work.
Resleeved ls2 block using Darton sleeves-done by Va Speed on our 4 axis cnc
Wiseco pistons and rings
Clevite bearings
ARP main studs
Reworked L92 heads by West Coast Cylinder heads-they are being optimized for the 4.125 bore
Custom spec Va Speed hyd roller cam
we are shooting for 550rwhp while maintaining the mild driveability.Stay tuned for updates on this project
